Slowly getting around to photographing some of my art for my upcoming exhibit at @bismarckdowntownartist. Hoping for some more warm days to take more photos. Exhibit will be April 4 - 26. This is my first solo exhibit. I am over the moon! 🌙

A painting I did back in 2021 that I stumbled upon when I was preparing for a still life class I lead back in October. I thought it fit the theme of this exhibit so I stuck it in this cute little frame and dropped it off. Reception is this Friday at 5:30pm at Bismarck Downtown Artist Coop!

Through the mist I saw the greenhouse.

I am participating in Folktale week. @folktaleweek

I don’t quite have the clearest story. The images came first. I wanted a set of prompts to start a series and this fit. Inktober seemed too daunting this year.

There is a start of a story in this series. But the paintings are not in the order that they were in the prompt list for it to work. So I need to play around with that a bit and see what I come up with. Or just leave them alone as just paintings, which is ok too.
